The Blue Rose has reopened. Without the strippers. Well maybe there’ll be some occasionally, but not on the employment register.
The island’s best kept hideaway has emerged from it’s cover. Many people will deny they’ve ever darkened the corner booths here, but you’d be surprised how many have a special place in their heart, and a guarded secret memory of how perfectly formed this cute little club can be.
There's been a quick refurbishment but the special goosepimply feeling of being in a saucy ex-strip bar is still retained.
Holding a mere 300 lucky people, The Blue Rose will be hosting live events, concerts and the odd rave-alike this summer 2007 before continuing into the winter season with a full live music schedule.
What? “A small cosy club with interesting bands and a choice selection of out of town guests in winter?” Yes really.
Although spiritually she’d fit right in at home amongst the Rue St Germain, The Blue Rose is actually physically situated in the depths(!) of Figueretes (you can walk from the McDonalds roundabout)
If you sometimes feel that you deserve to be able to sit down in a club on comfy red velvet cushions, be pampered at the bar rather than pushed, and make friends in a club that you’ll see more than once during the evening; The Blue Rose is here finally.
