Why should I verify my contact details?
Sometimes, if you've entered incorrect details, or if (in the case of email) you have a spam filter, important messages may go missing or not be received by you.
It's also essential, if you're using your contact details to communicate with us about transactions, that we are certain that it's you and not someone else pretending to be you.
Verifying your contact details means that we test that you can receive a message from us, by sending you a special code, that you then type into the website - or click in the email, to confirm that you've received the message. It's the best way to check that it all works.
